Our Attorneys Jomo Thomas is the founder and chairman of J.G. Thomas & Associates, P.C., a New York law firm that concentrates on business law, asset protection and estate planning, entertainment law, intellectual property law and immigration law. He was a former American Economic Association (AEA) Summer Training Minority Scholar at Stanford University. Jomo graduated with honors in Economics from Brandeis University (1996) in Waltham, Massachusetts. He received his law degree from the George Washington University Law School (2000) in Washington, D.C. Jomo was the former editor of the The George Washington University Law School Corporate & Business Law Journal. Jomo was featured on Tavis Smiley Show on NPR (National Public Radio) discussing Black Wealth and Fortunes Magazine special report, "The Black Millionaire Next Door: Black Wealth 2003.e was a co-founder of CBD Labs, a Washington D.C. based venture capital group. Jomo has appeared in Newsday and was a featured guest on the Tavis Smiley NPR Radio Show. He does a radio call in show on legal issues called Legal Power Talk on the Trevor Forde Morning Show, broadcast in NY every Tuesday on 93.5 FM at 5:35AM
